Intigena chooses Axion Solutions for production monitoring

With high production speeds and clear requirements for user-friendliness, Intigena has chosen Axion Solutions’ MES solution. During autumn 2026, the system will be rolled out on all machines, with integration with the ODOO ERP system.

Some of Intigena’s machines produce up to 1,800 products per minute – equivalent to 30 products per second. This places high demands on a system that must track production and make the information useful in daily work.

After using several different MES solutions over the years, Intigena chose to move forward with Axion Solutions ahead of the summer of 2026. The focus was on a user-friendly system that meets the needs of the business.

– I have seen many OEE systems over the years, but this definitely feels like the best I have seen. It’s stylish, simple, and does what it’s supposed to do, says Magnus Möllborn, CEO of Intigena.

He also points out that the operators quickly adopted the system and started recording stop reasons from day one.

Through the integration with ODOO, planned orders are retrieved directly into Axion MES.

– The integration with our business system went exceptionally smoothly, which was important for us, says Mikael Ewald, CFO at Intigena.

The next step is to implement Axion MES on the packaging lines as well, where the work is done manually. This reporting will also be done in Axion MES and linked back to the ERP system.
